As a Machine Operator (woodworking), you will work together with your colleagues on the production of industrial wooden packaging. You will operate various woodworking machines and ensure that products are manufactured accurately and according to technical drawings.
You will cut wooden panels and beams to size using, among others, a crosscut saw and a CNC-controlled panel saw. After a quality check, you ensure that the parts are ready for further processing or assembly.
This makes your job varied, technical, and hands-on.
What will you do?
- Preparing and supplying machines with the correct materials
- Cutting wood using a crosscut saw and CNC panel saw based on technical drawings
- Setting up and adjusting machines
- Checking dimensions and quality
- Solving minor malfunctions
- Ensuring a safe and clean workplace
What do we ask?
- Hands-on mentality and motivated to work
- Technical insight
- Experience in production or woodworking is a plus
- Experience with saws (such as a crosscut saw) is a big advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn
- You work accurately and independently
- You are physically fit and proactive
Preferred
- Experience with a panel saw
- Forklift certificate
